Here is the text of the advisory posted by the National Weather Service:

Coastal Flood Advisory in effect until 1 am EDT Wednesday…
… High rip current risk remains in effect through this evening…

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a coastal
Flood Advisory… which is in effect until 1 am EDT Wednesday.

* Location… coastal areas of New Jersey and Delaware.

* Coastal flooding… minor tidal flooding will be spotty for this
mornings high tide and more widespread at high tide this evening.
The morning high tide along the oceanfront will be around 8 am.
The high tide this evening will be around 8 PM. The back bays
have the high tide a few hours later.

* Risk of rip currents… high for today and tonight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions…

A high risk of rip currents implies that wind and/or wave
conditions will support the development of very strong rips
currents. These rip currents will be life threatening to anyone
who enters the surf. Rip currents are powerful channels of water
flowing quickly away from shore… which occur most often at low
spots or breaks in The Sandbar and in the vicinity of structures
such as groins… jetties and piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards
and the beach patrol. Pay attention to flags and posted signs.

A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that minor tidal flooding is
anticipated. Minor tidal flooding often results in some Road
closures. Usually… the most vulnerable roadways will flood.

Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The
water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting
yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged… leading to
costly repairs.
