The National Weather Service has posted a High Wind Watch for coastal Cape May County. The Watch is in effect from late Sunday night through the day on Monday, January 23rd. A coastal storm is expected to bring a good chance of rain to our area throughout the day Sunday, through Monday. This storm will include easterly winds projected at 30-35mph with the potential for gusts to 60mph. The strongest winds are expected late Sunday night through Monday afternoon.
Exercise caution while driving. Secure any outdoor objects that could be subject to strong winds including trash cans and patio furniture. If you experience a power outage, please contact Atlantic City Electric at 1-800-833-7476. If you have any emergency, dial 911.
