Thursday, January 4th Due to the winter storm, Avalon Borough Hall/Public Works/Community Hall/Free Public Library/History Center are all closed on Thursday, January 4th ; Wednesday’s scheduled trash/recycling collection that was scheduled for Thursday due to the New Year’s holiday will now be collected on Friday. Avalon Police also have closed the road to the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge Thursday at 9:00am due to the storm; it will be reopened when it is safe to do so, thank you.
