The National Weather Service has maintained the Tropical Storm Warning for Avalon and surrounding areas. The storm is expected to be a largely strong wind/heavy rainfall event, with the impacts felt Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening. If you live, or if you are visiting, an area of our community that floods during heavy rainfall events, move your vehicle to higher ground. Secure all objects on your property including trash cans, awnings, patio furniture and the like. If you have any emergency, dial 911. If you have a power outage, call Atlantic City Electric at 1-800-833-7476. Never drive on a flooded street. Follow all instructions provided by our Beach Patrol.
Please be aware that access to the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge may be closed at times during this storm event.
