The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Avalon. The Warning is in effect on Friday, August 7th, until 11:30pm. The potential for heavy rainfall may cause significant street flooding in some flood prone areas.
Please see the attached guidance map. If you live in an area prone to street flooding during heavy rainfall, you are advised to move your car immediately to another part of the island that does not flood during heavy rainfall events.
