The National Weather Service has continued the Winter Storm Warning for Avalon and the rest of Cape May County for Monday, January 6th. The graphics show snowfall totals have been slightly increased for our region. On Monday, all Borough offices are closed, including Avalon Community Hall. Regular trash and recycling collection will be attempted by the Borough’s contractor Monday. Snow will begin falling during the early morning hours and continue until the evening. Please exercise caution while driving. If you have an emergency, dial 911. If possible, move your vehicles from the street to your driveway to assist with snow plowing operations.
