The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Warning for Avalon for the potential of moderate coastal flooding at time of high tide Monday evening. A Wind Advisory is in effect for the potential of winds out of the east at 20-30mph, with gusts to 50mph this evening. High tide will occur this evening at the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge at 10:13am. Please exercise caution while driving this evening. We also anticipate about an inch of rain out of this storm. Contractors must secure their job sites this evening.
